Mike Sonko finally broke his silence after a video of him partying with Karen Nyamu at the Kamba festival went viral.

On Saturday, September 14, Sonko and Nyamu were among hundreds of people who attended the Kamba Night festival at Nairobi’s Carnivore restaurant.

The two politicians were spotted dancing and enjoying the night, which made people happy on the internet. Nyamu stood on the chair and danced vigorously to several tunes, and Sonko, who was standing next to her, appeared to enjoy it too.

In response to the video, some netizens alleged that the politician caressed Nyamu’s hips while she danced.

Responding to charges that he grasped the senator-elect’s hips, Sonko questioned whether it was improper for a man to lust after a woman.
