Harambee Stars shines bright against Namibia in the AFCON Qualifiers match.

Kenya national team Harambee Stars has emerged with a 2-1 win against the Brave warriors of Namibia.The win takes Harambee stars.to the top of Group J.

In Today’s game against Namibia, Harambee Stars head coach Engin Firat made three changes.Jonah Ayunga came in the place of Eric Johanna.Gor Mahia’s Austine Odhiambo was dropped for John Avire.Amos Nondi came in as an enforced change for Alphonce Omija who was injured in the last game against Zimbabwe.

The match started on a high note.Harambee Stars got their first free kick on the 6th minute which was shot by Erick “Marcelo” Ouma.

On the 14th minute, Rooney Onyango was booked for a yellow card after a touch with Namibia’s Prins Tijueza.

Harambee Stars goalkeeper Bryne Omondi pulled off a fine save from a free kick outside the box on the 17th minute.

The first half enden with Namibia leading with a 56.1% ball possession while Kenya at 43.9%.

The second half began with Kenya’s Ayunga shot being blocked by Namibia’s goalkeeper Loydit Kazapua.Ronney Onyango was then rested his position being taken by Kenya Police midfielder Kenneth Muguna.

On the 59th minute Kenya broke the deadlock through John Avire’s brilliant free kick.Twenty minutes later,Duke Abuya of Tanzania based Yanga SC scored the second goal with an assist from Eric Ouma.
