Sofapaka maintains it’s top tier status

It’s now official that SOFAPAKA,the 2009 Kenya Premier League champions will participate in the next season’s top tier.This has happened after their 2-0 win aggregate against NSL side Naivas FC.

They have emerged with a 1-0 win against Naivas in the promotion play off which was staged at Dandora Stadium in Nairobi.Last week, Batoto Ba Mungu again scored one goal in the promotion play off first leg at Police Sacco Stadium.

A late goal from Jacob Onyango made Sofapaka record a 1-0 win against Naivas in the first leg.

The today’s match began with several chances from Naivas FC.Naivas experienced several opportunities at the Sofapaka’s goal but all went unsuccessful.

However, Batoto Ba Mungu scored their goal in the last minutes of the first half.Andre Kalama scored the goal with an assist from Darius Msagha.

Sofapaka now will participate in the 2024/2025 FKF Premier League while Naivas will again feature in the National Super League,NSL.
