  • The gifted actress addressed the apparent change in her complexion that had admirers scratching their heads in a recent interview.
  • Nyasuguta, who is best known for her strong, black appearance in the comic series Vitimbi, appeared in public in July of this year at Mzee Ojwang’s memorial wearing lighter skin.

Eunice Wambui, better known by her stage name Nyasuguta, is a well-known personality in the entertainment sector, especially for her part in the KBC series Vitimbi.

Social media users were talking about the sudden change, so Nyasuguta had to explain why she had decided to bleach her hair.

Nyasuguta claims that she chose to bleach as a reaction to a tragic event rather than out of personal inclination. She suffered facial injuries in a serious car accident about years ago, which affected the coloring of her skin. Her mother encouraged her to choose bleaching as a solution to her uneven skin tone and desire to look better.

“I looked like I had two facial complexions because I had a dent on my face that was lighter than other parts of my face.” I thought it advisable to use bleach to achieve a more even skin tone on my face. My mother gave me encouragement, asking me to picture what people would think if a star showed up in Nairobi with dents all over the face.” She explained.

In conclusion, rather than being a purely aesthetic decision, Nyasuguta’s decision to bleach was a necessary step to repair the harm caused by her 2013 car accident.
