Moses Kuria is currently facing an impeachment motion if senators invoke their powers to have the Cabinet ejected from his office.
This comes after the CS made a tweet a previous night where he claimed 13 senators are being controlled by external forces over the Impeachment of the governor for Meru, Kawira Mwangaza.

While the impeachment debate enters the second day, senators deliberating on the matter, show their displeasure with the tweet.
The senators claimed that Moses Kuria was conducting himself in a way that didn’t respect the appointing authority of the president and office he represented.
The cabinet secretary hasn’t responded to his recent comments nor apologized.
