The music copyright society of Kenya (MCSK) Boss, Ezekiel Mutua, has continued with the war of words with female rapper Ssaru. This is after the rapper responded to Ezekiel’s early criticism about their hit song ‘Kasikie Vibaya’.

In a long Facebook post, Mutua blasted the rapper for ignoring advice from elders and sticking to impress the audience which will only hype her song now but in the future, they will listen to something else.

He says that people should not glorify dirty content from art as art is supposed to promote positive social values.

“Should we glorify these vices in our music because art is a reflection of society? art is supposed to promote positive social values, castigate bad behavior and promote moral values and national aspirations”, he wrote.

The MCSK boss said that he didn’t have bad intentions with Ssaru’s Talent as he was only advising her to do clean content.

“So let me talk today as a father. dismissing advice from people who truly love you and want the best for you is the beginning of the end. dirty content sells but only to perverts. a great part of the market care about their children and what they consume .they don’t want their children to be exposed to dirty content.

Mutua had criticized the song ‘Kaskie vibaya’ saying that it promoted moral decay in society, but Ssaru responded by stating that she normally does music for different audiences and advised Ezekiel Mutua to visit her youtube channel to confirm.
