It seems ‘Twendi Twendi Thili’ hitmaker Justina Syokau is struggling to receive marital blessings, contrary to her statement at the beginning of the year.

“2023 ni mwaka wa mavuno, ni mwaka wa kupanuliwa. 2023 mimi nitachukua hatamu, utakuwa ni mwaka wa mapato…” (2023 is the year of harvest, it is the year of expansion. 2023 I will take over, it will be a year of income), read her message during the release of Twendi Twendi Thili.

Months later, the controversial gospel singer has opened up about her single mother status, and how she has been single for the past 10 years.

“Mi nina mtoto mmoja na nina miaka kumi hapa nje pekee yangu. Unakuta tukipatana na watu pale nje watu wanakataa mtoto tu mmoja.(I only have one child and have been alone for the last 10 years. Men are not accepting women with even one child).

Why she thinks men are turned off

The musician who by listening to her for the first time you can’t tell if she is singing gospel or world music, also encouraged herself a lot while saying that just like 2020, the next year will also be one of great income for her, saying that she will receive a harvest every month.

While she may be interested in giving a relationship a shot, most men that show interest in her get turned off after a short while. According to the singer, she gets potential suitors, who get overwhelmed but shortly after, they lose interest in her after finding out she has a kid.

“Nimekataliwa mara mingi. Wakati unaambia mwanaume uko na mtoto anaona ni burden. Unakuta alikuwa na appetite ya kuwa na wewe, alikua na mpango anataka kukuoa. The moment unamwambia wewe ni single mother uko na mtoto unaona ameboeka.
