Gor Mahia sign eight players to boost title chances

Gor Mahia FC, the current FKF Premier League leaders, have been busy in the just concluded transfer window, signing eight new players to boost their squad.

Among the signings are three players, two from Uganda and one from Rwanda, indicating the club’s desire to strengthen their team with talent from beyond Kenya’s borders.

Shafik Kuchi Kagimu, a midfielder from Uganda’s URA FC, is expected to bring creativity and control to Gor Mahia’s midfield.

Patrick Henry Kaddu, a striker from Kitara FC in Uganda, is another exciting addition to the team. He has a proven track record of scoring goals and is expected to be a valuable asset to the club’s attacking line-up.

Emery Bayisenge, a defender from Saif Sporting Club in Bangladesh, is also expected to bring some much-needed defensive stability to the team.

Gor Mahia has also signed three players from their youth team, highlighting the club’s commitment to developing local talent. Bonface Otieno, Parmenas Ocholla, and Gilbert Otieno are all highly rated prospects who have impressed at the youth level and are now being given the opportunity to prove themselves at the senior level.

The signings are expected to provide a boost to Gor Mahia’s title aspirations this season. With the team currently sitting at the top of the FKF Premier League table, these new additions will undoubtedly help to strengthen their position and increase their chances of success.
