The Senior Women National Team, Harambee Starlets, are gearing up for an exciting opportunity to compete on an international level.

They have been invited to play a friendly match against Albania in Tirana on April 11, 2023.

This match marks their first international engagement in over a year, following the Football Kenya Federation’s suspension by FIFA, the World football governing body.

The Harambee Starlets have been eagerly waiting for an opportunity to showcase their skills and represent Kenya on an international platform once again. This upcoming friendly match against Albania provides them with just that, and they are determined to make the most of it.

It is worth noting that Albania is ranked 78 places above Kenya in FIFA Women’s ranking. However, the Harambee will be keen on putting up a strong performance against their opponents. They believe that they have what it takes to hold their own and perhaps even cause an upset.

To prepare for the match, the team will report to camp on March 30, 2023. This will give them ample time to train, strategize and fine-tune their game plan ahead of the game.

On April 8, 2023, the team will leave for Albania, where they will acclimatize to the new environment and continue with their training. They are looking forward to experiencing a different culture and playing on a foreign pitch, which will undoubtedly be an exciting experience for them.

The Harambee Starlets will be determined to make the country proud and show the world what they are capable of.
