My name is Samuel Kibet, and for most of my life, I was known in Kaplelach Village, on the outskirts of Eldoret, as “that boy who never finished anything.” I tried charcoal burning, boda boda riding, and even maize brokering, but nothing lasted. People laughed, shook their heads, and said I had no direction. Deep inside, I feared they were right.
