  • Real Madrid are close to agreeing a loan deal with Lyon for Endrick.
  • The 19-year-old has played only 14 minutes this season under Xabi Alonso.
  • The loan would run until the end of the season.
  • Endrick aims to secure more playing time and reclaim his Brazil spot ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Real Madrid are in advanced negotiations with Lyon over a loan move for forward Endrick in the upcoming January transfer window.

The 19-year-old has struggled for minutes under manager Xabi Alonso, featuring for just 14 minutes so far this season. Several clubs across Europe have shown interest, but Lyon appears close to finalising the deal.

Endrick joined Real Madrid from Palmeiras in the summer of 2024, scoring seven goals in his debut campaign. However, competition for attacking places has limited his appearances this season.

Though comfortable in Spain, Endrick reportedly believes that a temporary move is essential for his development and to secure regular first-team football.

Endrick has already represented Brazil 14 times, but his lack of club minutes has cost him a place in the national setup. The young striker hopes that a successful spell in France will boost his chances of returning to Brazil’s World Cup squad next summer.

If completed, the Lyon loan will give Endrick the platform to showcase his talent and regain form ahead of his long-term future at Real Madrid.
