A woman from Kiambu County has amazed locals after claiming she recovered her stolen car through a mysterious dream that guided her to its exact location. The woman, 35-year-old Mary Wanjiru, said the dream came just two days after she performed what she called a “spiritual cleansing session” to clear negative energy following a series of misfortunes.
Wanjiru, a businesswoman in Thika, reported that her Toyota Vitz was stolen outside her apartment gate late last month. Despite filing a report at the local police station, no immediate leads were found. “I had lost hope. The officers told me it might have been dismantled for parts,” she said. “Then I dreamt that I was walking through an open field near an abandoned warehouse. When I woke up, I knew I had to go there.”
The next morning, accompanied by her brother, Wanjiru visited a disused compound in Juja, where, to her surprise, she found her car hidden under a tattered canvas. “I froze.
