  • Open for the whole tournament.

Nairobi City County has set up a free Fan Zone at the National Archives, giving football lovers an open and lively spot to enjoy CHAN 2024 action right in the city centre.

The space will have giant HD screens, comfortable seating, and live shows from local artists before and after matches, turning each game into a mini festival.

City Hall says the event will also support local traders. Food stalls, drink stands, and merchandise vendors will be allowed to sell during the games, creating new earning opportunities.

Extra security has been deployed, with county officers and police ensuring the venue remains family-friendly for fans of all ages.

During the launch, Governor Johnson Sakaja said the goal is to make the championship accessible to everyone.

“Football is about unity, passion, and community. This Fan Zone will let Nairobians celebrate CHAN 2024 together,” he noted.

The Fan Zone will run for the entire tournament, screening all CHAN 2024 matches free of charge.
