Deputy President Kithure Kindiki is expected in Masinga and Kangundo Constituencies today as the government intensifies its economic empowerment program. His tour comes shortly after a lively town hall meeting in Machakos Town on Friday, where he vowed to ensure that no part of the country is overlooked in the delivery of development.

Kindiki firmly stated that every ward and every county would benefit equally, stressing that development must reach every corner regardless of political affiliation.

“Every county, every ward in this country will benefit from development projects that will improve the lives of the people,” he told residents.

Focus on Unity, Youth, and Local Projects

While addressing the locals, the DP urged citizens to reject tribal divisions, warning leaders against using ethnic lines to create conflict. He said the Kenya Kwanza government stands for unity and fairness, especially when it comes to national projects.

In Machakos County, several initiatives are already in motion. These include the building of 15 new modern markets and affordable housing units, with many of the homes set aside for college and university students.

Today’s meetings in Masinga and Kangundo are expected to highlight programs focused on local empowerment, especially among young people and small business groups. Kindiki will interact with community leaders and stakeholders, reaffirming the government’s promise to uplift communities from the ground up.

The tour is part of Kenya Kwanza’s ongoing efforts to build an equal and opportunity-rich nation, one project at a time.
