  • Lawyers argue DCI used AI-generated content to arrest Klinzy Barasa.
  • They say the viral video of him shooting is not real.
  • The defence team insists that IPOA, not DCI, should be in charge of the case.
  • They promise to prove in court that Barasa did not shoot the vendor.

The legal team defending Klinzy Barasa has come out strongly, stating that their client was wrongly arrested. According to them, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) used images and videos that were not genuine, but instead created using artificial intelligence.

They insist that what has been circulating online – showing Barasa allegedly firing a weapon at a street vendor – is not real footage.

The lawyers argue that viral videos and photos should not be the basis for such a serious arrest. They maintain that the visuals linked to their client are digitally manipulated and cannot be considered genuine proof without proper verification.

They want thorough investigations to determine if the video and photo evidence is authentic, warning against basing the case on unconfirmed online materials.

The defence believes that Klinzy’s case should be handled by the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) rather than the DCI. They’ve raised questions about the fairness of the current handling and claim that their client is being targeted unfairly.

They Promise to Clear Barasa’s Name in Court

The legal team has assured the public and the courts that they are ready to present their facts and prove Barasa’s innocence. They believe he was not involved in the shooting incident and are determined to see justice served.
