- FKF is set to rule on an appeal filed by Ulinzi Starlets FC against Zetech Sparks.
- Zetech allegedly fielded an ineligible player in the two all draw on 8th March.
Kenya Police Bullets FC appeared to have secured the league title after a goalless draw against Vihiga Queens earlier today.
However, their championship status remains in limbo due to an unresolved appeal lodged by Ulinzi Starlets nine weeks ago.
The appeal stems from a 2-2 draw between Ulinzi Starlets and Zetech Sparks played in early March, in which Ulinzi contested the eligibility of Bertha Omita.
The Soldiers claimed that Omita’s transfer was not finalized at the time of the match, making her ineligible to play.
With just one round of fixtures remaining, the prolonged delay in resolving the appeal has cast a shadow over the league’s integrity and left the title race hanging in the balance.
