Farouk Issues Stern Warning to Political Activists Over Regional Meddling

  • Kibet Backs Tanzania, Slams Opposition Over Cross-Border Politics
  • Kibet calls out opposition leaders for engaging in foreign politics.
  • Says their actions are disrespectful and could hurt ties with Tanzania.
  • Refers to recent civic forums in Dar es Salaam involving Kenyan figures.

During a public event held at Etago grounds in South Mugirango, politician Kibet strongly condemned opposition figures who recently got involved in political activities across the border. He called their actions shameful and unnecessary.

“Let Them Be Punished” – Kibet Says

Kibet made it clear that Kenya values good relations with its neighbors and does not support any behavior that might damage those ties.

“We respect our neighbors and don’t want trouble with them. These people are out of line and should face the law,” he said.

Civic Forums in Dar es Salaam Raise Eyebrows

While not mentioning names directly, Kibet referred to the involvement of opposition figures like Martha Karua in civic events held in Dar es Salaam. The forums reportedly criticized Tanzania’s government, something local authorities termed as interference.

“Do Politics at Home, Not Abroad”

Kibet challenged opposition leaders to stop exporting their ideas and tribal agenda to other countries.

“They’ve gone to compete with Suluhu. Let them come back home and share their ideas here—not spread tribalism abroad,” he stated firmly.

Kindiki, Osoro Join Kibet at Empowerment Event

The occasion was organized by Chief Whip Sylvanus Osoro and saw Deputy President Kithure Kindiki in attendance. The presence of top government officials signaled that the administration is united in defending regional diplomacy.

Presidency is for All Kenyans, Not Just a Few Tribes

Using the platform, Kibet also spoke against ethnic politics. He reminded citizens that leadership is not limited to certain communities.

“Every Kenyan has the right to lead this country, no matter where they come from,” Kibet emphasized.

Osoro Dismisses 2027 Election Threats

Backing Kibet’s remarks, Osoro took a swipe at the opposition, predicting a smooth and peaceful general election in 2027.

“There will be no chaos in 2027. People already know their choice,” he said, adding that the opposition is too weak to pose a threat.

“You couldn’t even get four MPs to support you. Don’t threaten us,” he remarked.

Tensions Continue Between Government and Opposition

These strong comments come at a time when political temperatures are rising. The Ruto administration and opposition continue to clash over key issues like governance, regional politics, and individualfreedoms.
