A tragic incident unfolded in Nairobi on Tuesday after Komora Mubadi Jilo, a candidate for the National Police Service Commission (NPSC) chairperson position, collapsed and passed away moments before his scheduled interview.

Komora, who previously contested for the Garsen MP seat in 2022 under the Pamoja African Alliance (PAA) party, was among four candidates set to be interviewed by the NPSC Selection Panel. However, before he could face the panel, he suffered a medical emergency at the Public Service Commission offices along Harambee Avenue, where he breathed his last.
