  • Police confirm investigations are at an advanced stage, with an arrest warrant issued.

Authorities in Nakuru have launched a manhunt for Prophet Peter K, the leader of Christ Impact Church in Ruiru, following accusations of sexual assault dating back to 2022.

The embattled cleric has been on the radar after a young man filed a case detailing an alleged sodomy attack, which was reported at a Nakuru police station. The matter resurfaced after the preacher narrowly escaped an attack by enraged youth two weeks ago.

Victim’s Account: “I Was Tricked and Drugged”

Speaking to Citizen TV, the victim narrated how what seemed like a normal day at work turned into a nightmare.

In February 2022, he offered to transport the pastor in his tuk-tuk, unaware of the ordeal that awaited him. On that day, Prophet Peter K asked him to drive him to a club, where he was handed money to buy alcohol.

He was my regular customer. That day, he told me to take him to meet his followers in Wanyororo. Since I had a driving license and ID, he asked me to join him in the van so we could talk. He gave me cash to buy alcohol, and two of his friends later joined us,” the victim recalled.

After taking several drinks, the young man was led into a van with no back seats—only a mattress. Shortly after, he blacked out.

“I passed out completely. The next thing I felt was intense pain. That’s when I realized what was happening,” he painfully recounted.

Justice Delayed as Trauma Persists

Despite filing the police report in 2022, the victim says no significant action has been taken against the pastor, allowing him to continue preying on others.

“Our police are taking too long with this case. Since 2022, I have waited for justice. Meanwhile, he is doing the same to others. I still carry the trauma,” he lamented.

A medical examination confirmed blunt force trauma, supporting the victim’s claims.

Police Confirm Arrest Warrant Issued

Nakuru East Deputy Sub-County Commander Sheila Kegode confirmed that investigations are progressing, with a warrant of arrest issued on March 3, 2025.

The case has sparked public outrage, with many calling for swift action to bring the fugitive pastor to justice.
