Two Judiciary employees from Mbita Law Courts in Homa Bay County have been arrested by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) detectives for allegedly demanding a Ksh 5,000 bribe to retrieve a court file.
The officials, identified as Jared Nyauncho (Senior Court Assistant) and David Tunya (Customer Care Officer), landed in trouble after allegedly asking a complainant for money to facilitate the retrieval of a succession case file.
