The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has officially launched the application window for 2024 KCSE candidates seeking placements in universities, technical institutions, and teacher training colleges.
In a statement issued on Friday, March 28, KUCCPS urged students to log in to their portal and select their preferred courses.
“Attention 2024 KCSE cohort! The KUCCPS application portal is now open for degree, TVET, and TTC courses. Log in at students.kuccps.net and apply.”
Application Deadline Set for April 21, 2025
Candidates have until April 21, 2025, to complete their applications, ensuring they secure spots in their desired institutions. This comes weeks after Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba confirmed that the portal would be opened in March for students looking to join university in September 2025.
“As per the annual placement calendar, KUCCPS will open the placement portal in March for the September 2025 university intake,” Ogamba stated.
KUCCPS Also Handling TVET, KMTC, and TTC Placements
Beyond university placements, KUCCPS has also been managing applications for Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), Teacher Training Colleges (TTC), and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions for the March and May 2025 intakes.
“The KUCCPS portal has been open since January 24, 2025, to facilitate placements for KMTC, TTC, and TVET applicants for the upcoming March and May intakes,” Ogamba added.
Students are advised to apply early to avoid last-minute challenges and secure places in their preferred institutions.
