Jesus Winner Ministry Secures 5,000 Jobs for Kenyans in South Korea

  • Bishop Edward Mwai announces 5,000 job opportunities in South Korea.
  • Recruitment to be conducted in collaboration with the government.
  • CS Alfred Mutua to make an official announcement in two weeks.
  • Bishop warns against fraudulent payments for non-listed countries.
  • Mwai dismisses youth protests, says he is working to uplift them.

Bishop Edward Mwai of Jesus Winner Ministry has announced a major job opportunity for Kenyans, revealing that 5,000 jobs have been secured in South Korea through a partnership between the church and the government.

Speaking on Sunday, March 8, Mwai confirmed that Labour Cabinet Secretary (CS) Alfred Mutua will officially announce the job placements within two weeks.

“There are more jobs. We have 5,000 job opportunities in Korea, and the recruitment will be done soon. The government will officially announce them with the Labour CS,” said Mwai.

He urged job seekers to follow government directives when applying to avoid falling victim to fraud.

Warning Against Fake Job Offers

Bishop Mwai cautioned Kenyans against making payments to unauthorized agents for jobs that have not been officially listed. He revealed that recruitment agencies visited his church on March 5 because CS Mutua was present, and he advised applicants to wait for official communication.

“Those who applied for other jobs should not pay for countries not on the list. You should also not make payments before getting clearance from the government,” he warned.

Commitment to Youth Empowerment

Bishop Mwai emphasized that his initiative is not limited to members of Jesus Winner Ministry but aims to uplift all young Kenyans by providing credible employment opportunities abroad.

He dismissed reports of a planned youth protest against him, saying those who initially opposed him realized he was working in their best interest.

“My wish is to see all youth get these opportunities, not just my church members. That’s why the youth did not turn up for the protest because they now understand I am helping them,” he stated.

Criticism of Politicians Misleading Youth

Mwai criticized politicians for allegedly misleading the youth without offering solutions to their problems. He defended his efforts, saying he is focused on empowering young people through job opportunities.

“Some people are misleading the youth because they have nothing to offer, but we are helping them get jobs abroad to improve their lives,” he said.

Forgiveness for Critics

The bishop also addressed social media criticism, revealing that bloggers had launched an online campaign against him and the church. However, he expressed forgiveness and thanked his congregation for standing by him.

“Some bloggers saw an opportunity to attack me online. I was called many names, but you stood with me. God bless you all,” he said.

With the official government announcement expected soon, thousands of Kenyans are now hopeful for a chance to secure employment in South Korea through this initiative.
