Uganda’s Chief of Defence Forces, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has once again sparked online chatter after openly expressing his admiration for global music icon Beyoncé. In a daring statement on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, Muhoozi jokingly told Jay-Z that he could do whatever he wanted, but Beyoncé was his for the taking.
“Jay-Z can do whatever he wants to me, but I’m taking Beyoncé!” he declared.
Taking his challenge a notch higher, Muhoozi proposed an old-fashioned duel at dawn, stating that if he emerged victorious, Beyoncé would be his.
“I challenge Jay-Z to a duel at dawn. If I win, I take Beyoncé,” he added, making it clear that he had endured enough from the rap mogul.
“This guy has disturbed me enough!” he concluded.
Not His First Declaration of Love
This isn’t the first time Muhoozi has made his admiration for Beyoncé public. Back in December 2024, he humorously questioned how long he would have to wait for her and even hinted at his readiness to pay dowry.
“But how long will I wait for Beyoncé? Does she know how many cows I have?” he quipped.
Muhoozi on Kenyan Women and His Handsomeness
The outspoken general has also been vocal about his views on beauty. In October 2024, he praised Kenyan women, claiming they all adored him, but took a jab at Kenyan men, calling them unattractive.
“Kenya is my second childhood home. I remember how pretty the girls were and how they all loved me. I also remember how ugly the boys were,” he remarked.
He has also previously proclaimed himself the most handsome man in East Africa, a title he says even Somali women acknowledged.
