President William Ruto has unveiled a fresh lineup of envoys in a move aimed at reinforcing Kenya’s diplomatic influence abroad. The nominations, made under Article 132(2)(e) of the Constitution, cover various ambassadorial, consular, and deputy mission head positions.

Among the notable picks, former Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha Wafula has been nominated as Kenya’s Permanent Representative to the UN-Habitat in Nairobi. Meanwhile, former Sports Principal Secretary Eng. Peter Tum is set to take up the role of Ambassador to Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.
