The declaration was issued through a gazette notice on Friday, citing provisions under Section 2(1) of the Public Holidays Act.
“For public awareness, and by the authority granted under Section 2(1) of the Public Holidays Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration declares that Monday, March 31, 2025, will be a public holiday to commemorate Eid-ul-Fitr,” the notice stated.
