The search for Brian Odhiambo has taken a tragic turn after three of his family members were arrested while protesting outside Lake Nakuru National Park. The arrested individuals include his mother, wife, and brother, who were demanding answers after receiving distressing news about Brian’s possible whereabouts.

According to Hussein Khalid, CEO of Vocal Africa, the family had gathered outside the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) gate when authorities moved in and detained them.

“Just been informed that Brian Odhiambo’s wife, mother, and brother have been arrested outside the KWS gate at Lake Nakuru. They were protesting at the national park after information surfaced that Brian’s body had been seen inside the park,” Hussein Khalid confirmed in a statement.

Brian had been missing since January 18, 2025, with his family tirelessly searching for him in hospitals and morgues across Nakuru but finding no leads.

New disturbing claims have now emerged regarding his disappearance. According to the family’s lawyer, Abuya Mugendi, a whistleblower has stepped forward, alleging that Brian’s body is being held within the Lake Nakuru National Park precincts. The source further claims that his remains are among six bodies found in a shallow grave inside the park.

“Because I have had a chance to speak to that informer. We believe there is a site, a graveyard to be precise, at Lake Nakuru National Park,” Abuya Mugendi revealed.

The revelations have intensified calls for an immediate investigation into the alleged hidden graves, as the family desperately seeks closure.
