  • Khalif Kairo has publicly defended his ex-girlfriend, Maria Wavinya, against claims that she was after his money.
  • Speaking on the Every Other Time with Eric podcast, Kairo revealed that Wavinya was supportive during his legal troubles.
  • The entrepreneur also clarified that their breakup in 2024 was due to his demanding work schedule, not any controversy.

Kairo dismissed allegations that Wavinya was a gold-digger, explaining that she was the first person to show up at the police station when he was arrested.
“Maria was the first to come to the police station and even called my mom,” he stated.

He further revealed that their breakup was not influenced by external factors but rather his inability to balance work and relationships.

Kairo admitted that in 2024, he only dated two women—Wavinya and influencer Cera Imani. Both relationships ended because of his demanding schedule.
“It was unfair to be in a relationship with someone yet I won’t dedicate my time to my partner,” he confessed.

He also addressed why Wavinya was absent from his recent court proceedings, stating that he personally requested her not to attend.

Despite their split, Kairo maintains that he and Wavinya ended things on good terms.
He reiterated that she was not involved in any controversy and asked the public to stop misjudging her.
