Police Shut Down ‘Pozze Live’ Concert at KICC
Fans of Willy Paul have been left disappointed after police abruptly canceled his highly anticipated ‘Pozze Live’ concert, which was set to take place at Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
Despite months of hype and an investment of over KSh 21 million, the event was shut down at the last minute, leaving fans and organizers frustrated.
Eric Omondi Speaks Out
Comedian Eric Omondi, who was actively involved in organizing the concert, took to Instagram to express his frustration.
“The police have appeared at KICC and said they have orders to stop the event. The question is why? It’s not about security, it’s about Eric Omondi and other factors,” he claimed.
Omondi dismissed security concerns as the reason for the shutdown, noting that the organizers had even requested 50 police officers for security.

The concert, which was expected to attract over 50,000 fans, is now set to proceed at the new venue.

Eric Omondi has urged Kenyan music lovers to show up in large numbers at the Expressway Lounge to support Willy Paul and the Kenyan entertainment industry.
