“We are committed to nurturing this sector. Nairobi has grown as a creative hub, and we want to ensure that our young talents have opportunities to shine,” he explained.

Remembering E-Sir

E-Sir remains a celebrated figure in Kenya’s music industry. The late artist passed away on March 16, 2003, in a tragic road accident along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway. His legacy lives on through his timeless music and contributions to the hip-hop scene in Kenya.

By renaming a road in honor of E-Sir, Nairobi County is celebrating the late artist’s legacy and reinforcing its dedication to supporting the creative industry. Governor Sakaja’s initiative serves as a reminder of the vital role artists play in shaping culture and inspiring future generations.
