Local media recently reported that Karen Nyamu’s property might face auction due to unpaid rent. However, during a television interview, the UDA senator clarified that she and her landlord are on good terms and dismissed the allegations as baseless.
Nyamu criticized individuals attempting to manipulate the situation for their own gain, saying, “There are people who think they can finance the media or use dirty tricks to mislead and intimidate. I’m here to show that it doesn’t work for everyone.”

“Ati nauza dawa ya kufanya landlord asahau rent, tuma tu 20k na picha ya mlango wako🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ Hawa waganga kutaka kulipua inbox yangu jameni,” Nyamu quoted one of the messages, expressing her disbelief.
Unexpected Donations
Following the widespread reports, Nyamu received monetary donations from well-wishers. She expressed gratitude but assured the public that she did not require financial support. “I’m thankful to Kenyans for the concern, but I’m fine and don’t need donations,” she said.
