Peter Mwangi, better known as Miracle Baby, has issued a heartfelt apology to God and his followers after receiving criticism for actions seen as a departure from his faith. The former member of Sailors Gang admitted to straying from his spiritual calling following a controversial nightclub performance of his hit song Wamlambez alongside his ex-partner, Carol Katrue.

The viral video of the performance ignited a wave of criticism, with many accusing Miracle Baby of abandoning the faith he had previously embraced. Responding to the backlash, he took to Instagram to express remorse and seek forgiveness, acknowledging that he had failed to uphold the spiritual path he believes God called him to follow.

In his emotional post, Miracle Baby apologized for allowing pride and self-importance to cloud his direction. He reflected on his journey and admitted his shortcomings, asking for God’s mercy and help to realign his life with righteousness and holiness.

God, please forgive me. I know I have shamed the work you did for me when I was without hope of living in this world again. Instead of leading hopeless people and those thirsty to know you, I let pride and self-importance take over. Please forgive me for that, God. I can do nothing without you.”He wrote.

The post included a montage of his family moments and scenes from his time ministering at the pulpit, further emphasizing his desire to reconnect with his faith.

Miracle Baby’s apology underscores his acknowledgment of past mistakes and his determination to return to his spiritual journey. By seeking forgiveness and sharing his struggles publicly, he hopes to inspire others facing similar challenges to find their way back to faith.
