Joseph Karanja, 28, was assisting a matatu driver to reverse along Kware Road near Kirima House when the vehicle pinned him against a wall. The incident occurred as the crew prepared to pick up passengers.
Karanja sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to Guru Nanak Hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment. His body has since been taken to the City Mortuary for a postmortem examination.
