- According to Ringtone, the delay in Talanta Hela stadium development has caused the gospel singer to postpone his wedding.
Ringtone Apoko, a controversial gospel artist, has revealed why he delayed getting married despite having all he needs except a wife.
Apoko told entertainment media that he had planned to have a wedding this year, but the government forced him to postpone it until next year.
Apoko, known for the hit song ‘Talanta,’ claimed that he desires to have a large wedding in the Talanta stadium, which is currently under construction, stating that he cannot hold a wedding because the stadium is not yet ready.
“I said I wanted to marry next year and organize it at Talanta Stadium, but the government is moving slowly. I want the government to finish Talanta Stadium since they stole the name ‘Talanta’ from my song, and I want to have my wedding there,” he said.
The singer has been hinting at finding a partner for quite some time before releasing a song marketing his willingness to marry.
However, it should be recalled that he previously turned down attractive women who approached him and asked for his hand in marriage.
Justina Syokau, one of the ladies Ringtone rejected, appeared to be serious about seeking the artist.
Apoko defended his decision to reject Syokau, stating that he realized that the mother of one is a person who loves romance, and he was looking for someone who enjoys worship and prayer so that he does not differ from the road of following God.
