NCBA and Amazon Web Services Deliver Digital Skills Training Program for over3,000 employees

NCBA, a leader in the financial services industry, has kicked off a comprehensivetraining partnership program for over 3,000 staff members across the East AfricanRegion with Amazon Web Services (AWS), the world’s most comprehensive andbroadly adopted cloud provider.

Nairobi, (September 25 TH , 2024); NCBA and AWS are pleased to announce strategic
training aimed at enhancing the digital skills of over 3,000 NCBA staff members across the
East Africa region. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in positioning NCBA as a
digital innovation pioneer in the financial services industry.

The program will see NCBA leverage AWS Training and Certification offerings to develop
customized training programs for its workforce. Virtual instructors will lead the training online
via AWS Digital Classroom to enable NCBA employees to build their knowledge and skills in
Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Big Data and
Analytics, among other areas.

By investing in the professional development of its staff, NCBA is committed to driving strong
results and retaining the best talent in an effort to better serve its customers. AWS Training
and Certification will reinforce NCBA’s strategic focus on harnessing advanced digital
technologies to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of its customers, positioning the

The Digital Skills Training program will kick off in September 2024, with a tiered rollout

Both NCBA and AWS are committed to supporting staff throughout the training process, with
all participants working towards earning AWS Certifications, which will validate their
knowledge and skills training upon completion of the program.
