Sky Victor, the first daughter of controversial pastor Victor Kanyari and the ex-wife, artist Betty Bayo, stunned her followers by declaring that some of their family’s strict child-rearing restrictions have been softened.
In one video uploaded on social media, she was filming while in a car with her parents, Betty Bayo and stepfather Hiram Gitau, and her younger brother, and commended the parents for making their lives simpler.
Many people were surprised when the girl, who is thought to be 12 years old, claimed that having a boyfriend is normal in their family because it is similar to trying new things.
‘In our family, having a boyfriend isn’t a sensitive topic; it’s just like exploring new things. Sky added, “For us, it’s just a normal thing,” as her parents, who were riding in the rear seat of the car, exchanged surprised looks.
After noticing that everyone was stunned and had decided to remain silent, Sky asked why they hadn’t said anything, informing them that they were embarrassing her by being silent.
