President William Ruto has officially welcomed Kenyan athletes who participated in the Olympic Games in Paris, France.

The sportsmen returned to the country on Tuesday night after spending a month in France, where they proudly hoisted the national flag in the major sporting championship held every four years.

Ruto, flanked by other government leaders in Eldoret, congratulated the gold medallists and presented them with 3 million shillings each.

Kenya won 11 medals, including four golds.
