Musingu Scorpions declared Kakamega County Champions

Musingu boys football team has been named as the Kakamega County champions.They have emerged the best in the 2024 KSSSA competition on the county level.

Musingu emerged with a 3-1 win against Munyuki Boys.Musingu booked a final spot after seeing off Lugusi 4-1 in post match penalties.The match ended in a 1-1 draw.On the other hand, Munyuki booked a finals spot after thrashing Shanderema 3-0 in post match penalties.

Additionally,the two teams will represent Kakamega County in the Regionals.

However,On the ladies side,Butere Girls edged out Archbishop Njenga.The Red commandos scored 2-0.Butere Girls stepped into the county finals after whitewashing Musoli 8-0 in the semis.Elsewhere, Archbishop Njenga girls won 5-0 against Mwitoti.

Furthermore,the Western Region games will be held in Bungoma county.
