It’s an end of the road for the Kenya Seven’s rugby team,Shujaa after going down to Samoa 26-0 in their last pool B match.The Kenya Seven’s exit the competition even before the opening ceremony.
In the earlier games,Shujaa lost to Argentina 31-12 and Australia 21-7 which complicated their chances of making to the medal bracket.
Shujaa played one man less in each half Kelvin Wekesa and co-captain and Tony Omondi were booked.Motu Opetai touched down for Samoa before Faafoi Falaniko added added the extras for a 7-0 lead.
Kenya failed to showcase any successful chance which gave Samoa an advantage to recycle the ball with great accuracy.

Shujaa fans hoped for a win against Samoa, which convincingly could redeem them and have a chance of making it to the medal playoff.
Therefore,Shujaa have now have stepped out of the 2024 Paris Olympics even before the opening ceremony which is scheduled to happen Friday 24th July 2024.
Australia finished top in the group, followed by Argentina the Samoa.Kenya finished at the According to the rules of the game,Shujaa must leave the Olympics village 48 hours after elimination.
Shujaa which is coached by Kevin Wambua qualified to 2024 Paris Olympics after emerging African champions.
Kenyans have now set eyes in other disciplines including Athletics where there is great hope and expectations.
