Nation Media Group has announced the return of the famous comedy show Churchill to the NTV channel.
The announcement comes two years after the Churchill show stopped running on the Channel. Churchill Show, an entertainment programme hosted by ‘the father’ of the Kenyan entertainment business, quit NTV two years ago and began broadcasting on Cape Media-owned Tv 47.
However, the Churchill Show did not last long on TV 47. Fans have expressed their delight as NTV announced the comeback of the rib-cracking show. Breaking the announcement, NTV stated that the decision to bring back the Churchill show was prompted by fan demand, which continued to grow.
“The wait is over, Kenya! The legendary #ChurchillShow🔥 is making its grand return after years of requests from YOU, the fans! We heard you loud and clear, and we’re bringing back the side-splitting comedy, and hilarious sketches you love. 💯. Get ready for a new season of pure entertainment! Stay TUNED…..🤩,” NTV announced through their Facebook page.
Daniel Ndambuki played a significant role in launching the careers of numerous comedians during the Churchill show era. Several Kenyans gained notoriety and continued to do so through his platform. This is comparable to Daniel Ndambuki’s involvement in the entertainment sector. It appears that the Comedy show’s comeback will usher in a new era for the field, which has seemed to be in dire straits lately.
