Harambee Stars under 23 squad reports to camp

The Under 23 Harambee Stars squad has started preparations.The National Under 23 team will be competing in the COSAFA Cup in South Africa from 26th June.The squad held it’s first training session today.

Twenty of the named players arrived today.The rest are expected starting tomorrow.Some of the notable players who were present in today’s training were Johnstone Omurwa, Anthony Okumu, Kaycie Odhiambo and Haniff Wesonga.

The others who were present are Chrispine Erambo,Baron Ochieng, Rooney Onyango,Alpha Onyango, Sebastian Wekesa,Paul Ochuoga,Bonface Onyango, Geoffrey Onyango,Wilson Stanley,Shariff Musa,Bajaber Mohammed, Patrick Otieno,Hassan Beja, Fortune Omoto and Samuel Kapen.

However, Harambee Stars are in pool B with Zambia,Comoros and They will face Zambia in their first match on 27th June.The match will be played at the NMB stadium.

They will then battle with Comoros.The match will be staged at Wolfson Stadium on 30th June.The final group match will be against Zimbabwe on 2nd July.

The under 23 stars are scheduled to leave on Tuesday 25th June 2024.
