- According to media reports, Charles, 38, died on the night of February 3, 2024.
Charles, a prominent actor as well as a director and scriptwriter, made substantial contributions to a variety of film productions, including ‘Makutano Junction,’ ‘The First Grader,’ and ‘Count It Out.’
He appeared in a variety of television shows, including ‘The Know Zone Changing Times’ on KTN, ‘Higher Learning,’ ‘Changes,’ ‘Mali’ on NTV, ‘Second Family,’ ‘Crime and Justice’ on Showmax, and ‘Salem’ on Maisha Magic.
Charlie’s extraordinary talents earned him various awards, including Best Director at the 2016 Asian American Film Lab 72 Hour Shoot Out, as well as numerous NYC Indie Film Awards.
Ciru Muriuki, a former BBC Africa presenter, and Charles celebrated their engagement in September 2023. Their charming moments captured the hearts of many.
