Uganda: Witchdoctors burn down Churches, In a religious conflict

Nine shrines and one church that were set on fire during the religious conflict between local doctors and Christians in Luuka have prompted police to open an investigation.

Pr. Kyagada Mark Paul of the Waiswa Foundation Ministry was the pastor of the church that caught fire. Several sources claim that he was mocking witch doctors and called them Satan’s agents while destroying some of their shrines.Following the destruction of the shrines, over 400 witch doctors united to attack and destroy his church.

Investigations into the arson are still ongoing, according to SCP Fred Enanga, the spokesperson for the Ugandan police. An additional twist to the story was that the pastor’s property was visited by the K-9 dog that was dispatched to assist in apprehending the offenders
