Citizen TV journalist Trevor Ombija is celebrating the birth of his son, Trevor Junior. The proud father took to social media to share the news, writing, “I am excited to announce the arrival of my son, Trevor Junior. He is healthy and doing well.”
In an interview with Nairobi News, Ombija opened up about his aspirations for his son. “I want him to be better than me,” he said. “I want him to achieve great things in life.”

Ombija named his son after himself in the hopes that he will live up to his namesake. “I want him to have a strong foundation to build on,” he said. “I want him to know that he can achieve anything he sets his mind to.”
Ombija also spoke about the importance of privacy for his son. “I want to give him a normal childhood,” he said. “I don’t want him to be under the spotlight too much.”
However, Ombija also acknowledged the importance of celebrating his son’s presence. “I don’t want him to grow up and think I wasn’t proud of him,” he said. “That’s why I posted that photo today.”
Ombija is excited to embark on this new chapter in his life as a father. He is confident that his son will achieve great things, and he is determined to do everything he can to help him along the way.
