Flamboyant politician Mike Sonko has finally succumbed to online pressure and made a surprising decision to hire an official designer who will assist him in selecting the perfect outfit for each day.

Sonko, who has frequently been criticized for his lacklustre fashion sense, particularly attributed to his “Kamba roots,” seems to have acknowledged the influence of his cultural background on his loud and often tasteless fashion choices.

In a bid to embrace his heritage and seek fashion guidance, the former Nairobi Governor reached out to his social media followers for assistance in finding the ideal pair of shoes to complement his blue suit while he embarks on the search for a professional designer.

Sonko took to Twitter and wrote, “Good morning watu wangu. As you know, I am proud of my Kamba roots, and we love bold colour combinations, but I don’t have a personal designer. Please help me choose the shoes that will match this suit.”

Moreover, Sonko expressed his willingness to pay a monthly salary of Ksh.30,000 to the fortunate individual who would take charge of his fashion affairs.

He added, “I am also looking for a designer. Leave your phone number here, and I will personally call you today when I am available, to avoid any scammers. Have a great day.”

Engaging in a spirited competition to catch Sonko’s attention, Kenyans flooded the comments section, showcasing their fashion expertise and openly sharing their contact details.

Known for his preference for vibrant colours, ostentatious rings, and flashy sunglasses, Mike Sonko’s unconventional fashion choices have dominated headlines throughout the past decade.

Moreover, he has a penchant for making bold fashion statements through unique haircuts and wearing t-shirts adorned with messages that reflect his current passionate causes.
