Popular Kenyan singer Otile Brown has revealed that he is expecting his first child. The singer made the announcement on his Instagram stories on Saturday night, saying that he was “going to be a papa, Inshallah.”
Otile has kept his love life private since breaking up with his then-girlfriend Nabayet in July 2022. In an interview last year, he said that he was single and that he was taking his time to find the right person.
“I am single, I am taking my time,” he said. “It’s hard for me to date because I don’t know if people are sincere or not. I pray to God to give me the one.”
Otile also said that he would love to start a family someday. “I think the best time to get a partner is on your way up,” he said. “Once you get to the top it becomes hard. I am not searching but I would love to start a family.”
Otile’s announcement has been met with congratulations from his fans and friends. Many people have wished him and his child all the best.

In 2019, Otile Brown made headlines when he accused his ex-girlfriend, socialite Vera Sidika, of getting rid of their child.
Brown made the accusation on Instagram, saying that Sidika was “obsessed with giving birth to a cute child” and that she doubted that he was “light skin enough” for the baby to come out light-skinned.
Sidika denied Brown’s accusation, saying that she was on contraceptives the entire duration of their relationship.
The accusation sparked a debate on social media, with some people supporting Brown and others supporting Sidika.
Some people said that Brown was right to accuse Sidika, while others said that he was wrong to make such a serious accusation without evidence.
The accusation also led to a public feud between Brown and Sidika. The two exchanged insults on social media, and Brown even released a song called “Niache” in which he accused Sidika of being a gold digger.
