Indimuli, who joined KTN in 2021, has also confirmed his exit. He had previously worked for KBC, K24, and Citizen TV.
The two anchors are said to be headed to TV47, a new station that is looking to revamp its newsroom with notable names in the media industry.
Ahmed is a well-respected journalist with a wealth of experience. He began his career at KTN, and in 2019 he was appointed as the station’s main news anchor. He has since anchored some of the biggest stories in Kenya, including the 2019 general election and the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to his work as a news anchor, Ahmed is also a respected political analyst. He is a regular commentator on Kenyan politics, and his insights are often featured in national newspapers and magazines.
Ahmed is a recipient of several awards for his work, including the 2019 CNN African Journalist of the Year award. He is also a member of the 2020 BBC 100 Women list, which recognizes 100 of the most inspiring and influential women in the world.
Ahmed is married and has two children. He is a devout Muslim, and he is passionate about using his platform to promote peace and understanding.
He has won several awards for his work, including the 2019 CNN African Journalist of the Year award.
Indimuli is also a highly experienced journalist. He has worked on some of the biggest stories in Kenya, including the 2007/08 post-election violence and the 2013 general election.
Their departures are a major loss for KTN, which is already facing stiff competition from other stations, such as NTV and Citizen TV.
It remains to be seen how TV47 will benefit from the addition of Ahmed and Indimuli to their team. However, their arrival is sure to shake up the Kenyan media landscape.
