Harambee Stars coach Engin Firat has unveiled the final squad that will represent the national team in their upcoming international matches against Pakistan and Mauritius. The matches are scheduled to take place in St Pierre, Mauritius, as part of the team’s preparations for their CAF and FIFA assignments later this year.

The squad includes several notable inclusions, with KCB’s Byrne Odhiambo, Sharks’ Kevin Luke Otiala, Police’s Cliffton Miheso, and Homeboyz duo Robinson Kamura and Moses Shummah making the cut. These players have been impressed with their performances in domestic leagues and have now earned the opportunity to showcase their talents on the international stage.

In addition to the newcomers, the squad also features some familiar faces who have been regulars for the national team. Richard Odada, Eric Ouma, Amos Nondi, David Ochieng, and Teddy Akumu have all been included in the final team, bringing their experience and expertise to the squad.

Michael Olunga, the prolific forward who currently plies his trade abroad, is the captain of the team. Olunga’s leadership qualities and exceptional goal-scoring abilities make him an ideal choice to lead the team in these crucial matches.

Harambee Stars will face Pakistan in their first match on Wednesday, June 14, before taking on hosts Mauritius on June 18, 2023. These matches will serve as important test fixtures for the team as they gear up for their upcoming CAF and FIFA assignments scheduled for November this year.
