Sol Generation artiste Bensoul has spoken out about his recent breakup with longtime girlfriend Noni Gathoni. In an interview with Massawe Japanni, the singer revealed that the relationship had come to an end, but that they are both happy with the decision.
“It reached a point where there was no love,” Bensoul said. “We are both happy now. There is no need to force something and struggle later on.”
The singer also said that he was the one who initiated the breakup, and that it has not had a negative impact on him. In fact, he said that it has motivated him to do better.
“Breaking up only increased my strength to do better,” he said. “It didn’t affect me negatively. I was the one who ended things.”
Bensoul’s revelation about the breakup has come as a surprise to fans, as the couple had been together for several years. However, the singer said that they are both moving on and are in a good place.
“We are in a good place and I am fully present for her,” he said of his daughter. “She is an incredibly lovely child and I may soon introduce her through my song Melody.”
Bensoul is currently focused on his music career and raising his daughter. He said that he is enjoying being single and is looking forward to the future.
“The relationship simply ended,” he said. “You know, love sometimes fades away. I’m enjoying being single. My focus now is on my music and raising my daughter.”
