- Arsenal may not be able to afford a move for West Ham’s Declan Rice
- Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City are also interested in Rice
- West Ham will only sell Rice for a £120m fee to a club playing Champions League football
Arsenal could be priced out of a potential move for West Ham United captain Declan Rice as the club faces stiff competition from rival Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City.
West Ham is reportedly willing to lose Rice, but only if they receive a £120m fee for the midfielder before allowing him to join a club playing Champions League football.
Impressive Declan Rice
The 23-year-old midfielder, who has been with West Ham since joining at youth level in 2014, has had an impressive career so far, receiving his first call-up to the senior squad in April 2017 and making his full senior debut in August of that year.
Rice was named runner-up for the 2017-2018 Hammer of the Year award and has since been named Hammer of the Year twice, most recently in May 2022.
He has also been named in the 2021-22 UEFA Europa League Team of the Year alongside teammate Craig Dawson.
Rice has been in top form this season, scoring his first goal of the season in February 2021 and his first European goal in September 2021, helping West Ham to a 2-0 away victory over Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League.

Despite his success with West Ham, Rice’s future with the club is now uncertain as several Premier League giants circle for his signature.
Arsenal is to be priced out
Arsenal, who are reportedly interested in the midfielder, could be priced out of the deal if the club demands the £120m fee for his transfer.
It remains to be seen where Rice will end up, but one thing is certain: the young midfielder has a bright future ahead of him, and he will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to any team lucky enough to have him.
