MC Ndegenye is a comedian, an event host and a professional MC. He makes his living probably from brand promotion as well as featuring from TV shows. He was once featured by famous Kikuyu media personality Muthei Kiongei o a TV show that made him popular.
How MC Ndegenye bought his first car;
From a post shared by the popular MC, He narrated how a 5k job landed him his first car. The job was a call from a client he landed through a phone call. Although the client was paying 5k, MC Ndegenye could not resist, he took the job which could earn him his first car.
According to him, from the 5k, he could only remain with 1k only from the amount.
After successful completing the event, he earned a top paying job from a client who was happy from his performance during the event.
“One day ,someone called me,akaniambia Ndegenye juu nakuonanga kwa kiengei live I want you mc my ruracio event na nko na 5k peke yake….nkapiga hesabu nkaona nkitoa fare na lunch ntabaki na 1k ..that time sikuwa na gari..I told that client am oky il mc with that amount…..siku ikafika and I went ,I did my best ..infact nliperform kama mtu amelipwa 50k…and audience ilipenda….nkalipwa my 5k …
“before nitoke ,a certain old man akaniita akaniambia, ” kijana mzee,nimefurahishwa na kazi yako,niko na kijana (my son) ako na the same occasion ,how much do you charge kumc,” confidently I said ..”full package hukuwa 300k” ..surprisingly akaniomba my account no akaeka deposit ya 200k….Wee..I went nkaperform akaniekea remaining 100k…that’s how I got money nkabuy gari yangu ya kwanza“ narrated MCee Ndegenye.
He continued and urged comedians am artists to not despise small jobs.
“Ooh ,mimi siezi chukua 5k ..oh mimi siezi chukua 10k ,,my brand is above that limit..its oky…Most artists reacts that way…,” He wrote.
The MC was once talk of the media after building his parents a parmanent house. A move that he described as his dream to come true.
